General Information

The 2010 Greater Long Island Dental Meeting will be held at the Hilton Huntington Hotel in Melville, New York on Tuesday, April 20th and Wednesday, April 21st.

All sessions will be held in the hotel facilities, including full and half-day scientific programs and clinics with over 140 Exhibitions displaying the latest in technology, equipment, supplies and services. The GLIDM meeting will open on April 20th at 5:00 pm featuring a complimentary cocktail reception, live entertainment, prizes and giveaways. Wednesday, April 21st will feature a special line-up of speakers whereby up to 14 hours of CDE can be obtained. A complementary happy hour will conclude the evening with prizes and giveaways.

The Photography Contest will once again take place – $250 for first prize and certificates awarded to second and third place winners. Look for the Photography Contest form.

Table Clinics will be held in the Exhibition Hall on Wednesday, April 21st from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm. Two First Place Prizes: Residents/Students – First Place $ 250 and Hygienists – First Place $250.

Valet parking is available in front of the hotel. Ample self-parking is located at the rear of the hotel. There is a rear entrance to the hotel and Meeting.

MEETING REGISTRATION -

Pre-Registration by Mail or Fax:
Discounted advanced registration must be received by mail or by fax at the GLIDM office no later than April 1st, 2010. Click here for our Pre-Registration form.

On-Site Registration:
Registration will be located on the main floor of the hotel. An additional fee of $25 will be added to the registration fee for all on-site registration of scientific sessions. To view the Exhibition Hall is always free of charge and can be obtained at Registration.

Please note that course registration will be on a space available basis.

• Non-ADA Members - $200*
• Hygienist* / Dental Assistant / Staff - $75
• Students, Residents & Faculty - FREE (ID must accompany registration)
• Lab Technicians - $25

The fees shown above entitle the above registrant to take up to 2 FREE CDE hours on Tuesday evening (4/20) and up to14 CDE hours on Wednesday, April 21st . Also includes complimentary Happy Hour and cocktail parties for both Tuesday (4/20) and Wednesday evening, (4/21).

Risk Management, Infection Control and/or CPR. There is a separate fee of $ 75 per required course. If you are only taking a required course listed above please note that no other fees apply.

NYS Mandated Ethics & Jurisprudence Course

  • ADA Members – FREE
  • Non-ADA Members - $100

Exhibition Hall Only – All Registrants – FREE (includes complimentary cocktail parties on Tuesday & Wednesday – pre-registration is required).

If you wear a pacemaker, we do suggest that you avoid being in the vicinity of demonstrations of the following, since these could cause an erratic performance of the pacemaker: electrosurgery, ultrasonics, induction casing, electronically controlled timers, electric pulp testers, wireless intercom systems or any arcing electric motors.
