| This lecture/hands-on
program will familiarize and update the restorative dentist on
all aspects of implant dentistry. Both the lecture and hands-on
workshop will concentrate on the use of an internally-connected
system of restorative components and highlights will include:
- The restoratively-driven approach to implant dentistry
- Restorative and surgical treatment-planning guidelines
- Surgical protocols which minimize patient treatment time
- The difference between how implants and natural teeth respond
to
occlusal forces
- How to create an implant protective occlusal scheme
- Simplified restorative instrumentation
- New options in abutment selection
- Patient education techniques to enhance case acceptance
The goal of this program is to provide the practitioner with
information on the latest advances in implant dentistry, with
an emphasis on simplifying restorative protocols.
